In Terms Of New Products, What Would You Guys Advise?

Say you have someone such as myself who is in their early 20's and is noticing some loss though nothing awful as of yet (about a Norwood 1.5). What would you guys advise given all the treatments that are supposedly coming out? It looks like a few new products may come out in 2018, is it worth sticking around for them or just hop on current treatments? Only reason I haven't done so yet is because of possible side effects.

I suggest going through threads from 2005
Yeah was actually looking through that and saw people having the same thoughts, but as far as I understand replicel aims to have a product out next year so maybe there is a bit of hope.

At least I suggest you start with minoxidil not much risk about that

Try propecia that will slow the loss until alternatives become available.

Do note possible side effects.

I know it's a minor side effect, but doesn't minoxidil cause premature aging of the skin? And I would get on propercia if the sides, though unlikely, weren't so strong. Either way, maybe I'll wait it out until the hair congress in Japan next month and then decide from there. Made it this long without any treatments, what's another month.

The sides from minoxidil are so rare and small that it would be stupid to not use it in fear of getting them. Honestly, it's one of the safest remedies against hair loss. Finasteride also rarely causes sides, in which case you can just get off it again. You don't get anywhere with constantly obsessing about sides, just take the plunge and try the drugs. Luckily, you still have a decent head of hair, so I guess it's not really urgent yet.
