I'm so discouraged right now with Propecia...

I have been on Propecia for almost 6 months now. I started it when I had a full head of head that was thinning, and I saw amazing results. I have never been so happy with my results in my life. I was also using rogaine off and on for about 2 months or so.

about 3 months into it, I shaved my head completely. I don't know why I did this. I guess I was eager to see if I would finally be able to have short hair in the summer... I was wrong... my hair is not growing back evenly.

In fact the opposite. My hair isn't filling in. I don't feel like my hair is growing back at all, and it's really bad. I honestly don't know what to do. I stopped rogaine because I wasn't seeing any results with it, and I wonder if that has anything to do with this.

So far my hair isn't filling in... and I don't want to start rogaine again. The greasiness and the crap in your hair is just too much. I don't know if propecia can fix this now, and it's really depressing. I just don't know what to do here.

Do I just give it time? I mean I didn't even use the rogaine long enough to really hurt anything I didn't think. I've been taking propecia for almost 6 months now I feel like my hair should be growing more evenly than it is. What's going on here?

you should post some pictures to get an objective opinion...

also.. were you using rogaine foam? no grease there, and goes on great with short hair, highly recommend.

all you can do is keep taking the propecia. are you good about not skipping days and taking it same time every day? you really need to give it 12 months, and you can definitely go through month long periods of sheds, so i wouldn't be too concerned.

post some pics, and add foam!
