I got off the foam and now have been taking Lees 5% Xandrox once or twice a day for 2 months. Haven t noticed much except that one side of my head isn't responding like the other (its weird).

I just added Revivogen so I am thinking staying with the Xandrox in the morning and Revivogen at night.

should I can the Xandrox and try the foam again? When I was on foam I was on foam alone for a while.

I cant take internals at all

Wheres the experts?

THANX

minoxidil is minoxidil, dude. Stick with what you're using I think. Weird how you're only responding on one side!! Although some response is better than nothing... Good stuff.

Do you always sleep on the same side?

I think the DHT sinks to the side of the head on which you sleep. That is where me and my friend both first started to lose our hair...at the temple on the side we slept.

Not so sure about the DHT sinking thing but the scalp does indeed get less oxygen on the side you sleep.

yeah I found finasteride worked on my left temple area but worsened my right frontal area. I get a tingling feeling in my right frontal area, it hasn't been so bad since I reduced my intake to 1/4 proscar every two or three days

Tingling (if inconsistent and infrequent) was what I experienced at my right temple (where hair loss was bad) while on finasteride, and I got good regrowth!

Losing hair on finasteride might be a shed....a great sign!! You might want to go back to finasteride if the only side effect you experienced at 1.25mg daily was tingling and hair loss...jmo.

thanks for the advice Follically Challenged, It's just that there is barely any sign of regrowth, sometimes it's hard to tell if the fine hairs are coming back or if they're on their way out. I have had side effects, brain fog, increased body hair, increased libido, watery sperm, my facial hair has also darkened. Also when i get aroused or jerk off the tingling comes on, strange. It's been good losing the brain fog and makes it easier to be happier and deal with hair loss.

hey Follically Challenged, you mentioned that you believed that tingling was a good sign. I added a bit of finasteride powder to my moisturizer, it gets absorbed right away and leaves no trace, however it did increase the tingling and appeared to eat my hairline so I stopped. I applied it once a day for about six weeks. Maybe it was a shed but it hasn't grown back. Maybe if i persisted it would grow back but I'm not keen to try it.
