HI. Im a 65 year old man and have been using minoxidil for approx. 30 years. I feel it has slowed down my hair loss for the whole time. However the last year my hair has gotten very thin and the minoxidil. doesnt seem to be helping anymore. Im afraid of the rate it is going I will be completely bald on top within 6 or 7 months. I have thought about ordering the propecia from All Day Chemist and giving it a try. I cant afford the American prescription. The only thing that kind of scares me is that a few years back a spot on my pancrease sshowed a small amount of growth. They biopcied it and said it was benighn which was good news but they said they would have to keep scanning it once a year to make sure it doesnt grow or turn into ccancer. Also about 12 years ago I had lung cancer and they removed my right lung. Am I being foolish to think about trying propecia? Could it possibly cause more harm to my pancreace or liver? I know none of you are doctors but I would welcome any advice. I know with all the other problems I have had that I shouldnt even be concerned by hair loss but I am. Thank you and please excuse my spelling.

Do u have pictures of ur hair through the years? Even if u don't add propecia add in nizoral shampoo 2-3 times a week (lather and leave in 5 mins) as there are numerous studies showing it helps hair loss.

Thanks for your reply John. I tried nizoral and it seemed to make my hair loss a lot worst. I dont have any pictures but my thin hair is very obvious as you can see a lot of scalp thru out the entire top of my scalp.
