if you're not actually going bald and you go on finasteride

lets say it's actually Telogen Effluvium or whatever (I know you should get this checked)

so you take finasteride, and after 5 years or whatever it looses it's effect, if you wern't going bald, would taking the finasteride for a long time possibly affect you and make you go bald?

sorry if this is a stupid / annoying question, but i'm curious.
