If you take minoxidil+finasteride, see results, can you maintain progress with only finasteride?

Just as title states. If you are on both, are you doomed to applying minoxidil for the remainder of the fight? Or will finasteride protect the gains you've made from minoxidil?

dont leave minoxidil . .if gained / maintained on it. Pls dont use the negative adjectives like doomed. . .. applying minoxidil is 100000000x better than going bald. Be thankful you respond to it. Good day!

finasteride won't sustain your minoxidil-fueled hairs even when they have made a seemingly full recovery. You will maintain your non-minoxidil hair with finasteride and potentially get regrowth, but whatever you got on minoxidil will need minoxidil to stay.
