Don't get me wrong, I think you should always strive to improve yourself. But it's just how it will be perceived by women for example. How you won't always reap the rewards a NW1 would get if he did the same work on himself.
A guy with a full head of hair will instantly be congratulated if he achieves something, while bald men will somehow always been seen as trying hard or improving themselves to compensate for the feeling of insecurity they have because they're losing their hair.
I'm speaking from personal experience here, with women and society in general. Other (rare) bald men on this forum like uncomfortable man, Exodus and Captain Forehead can confirm I'm not making all this up.
