If Weeding Off Propecia, How Long....

I might have to stop take taking Propecia because of high ALT levels in my liver so I was wondering for how long should I weed off Propecia so I don't have a sudden large increase in DHT production? Also, if I start weening off of Propecia should I do every other day and then every third day and so on or...?

I'd gradually decrease your dose over the course of 2 weeks. You can do this by taking less everyday or by spacing out the intervals as you suggested.

Just curious, what advantages are there to tapering the dose down as opposed to stopping it dead?
