i have decided to make my health insurance pay for my meds such as avodart or finasteride. if they refuse i will threaten legal action. if they still refuse i will take them to court for sexual discrimination ( and probably win because discrimination cases are touchy ).
the thing is, they should pay. women who are losing their hair are completely covered by insurance for their endocrinoligists and other pharmaceuticals they have to use. men are not treated this way.
sadly though the men who could afford to take someone to court over this obviously dont care because they can pay. those who cant afford meds easily also cant afford to challenge the status quo.
i'm quite comfortable money wise at the moment so i'll give it a shot. might do us all some good.
