If all fails. What would you do?

Here is the question of questions. This is the important one. If after many attempts at different treatments and hard work male pattern baldness get's the better of you and you go bald. What would you do?

I personally would shave my head or maybe just have it really short, then I would work out at the gym and develop a really good body. Then I would try to get over my baldness and move on with life and get the most from my remaining days.

I "might" condsider a hair transplant - but only if I came into a lot of money.

Otherwise - I'd just make the best out of a not so great situaltion.

I'd only consider a transplant if i was definitely maintaing what i've got now and could just restore my temples.

If it all starts going wrong and I begin losing again I'd do the same as Gonna Win.

If I didnt have my hair to worry about getting a great body would be no problem as I could greartly increase my steroid use.

why dont you start hitting the gym now?

you may end up with good hair and a good body and it would save you the transition period of bald and weedy to bald and ripped.

re:

Trim it real short, I cannot justify cutting out part of my scalp for a few hairs.

Like everybody said, buzz it short or shave it, and get on with life. Really, if it ever happens, it will be almost as much of a relief as if my hair all grew back, because I'll FINALLY be able to stop worrying about whether or not my treatments are working, or if I'll get worse.

I doubt if I'll ever get transplants, strip transplants, which are really the only option if you're really bald (unless you're a millionaire), are just waaay too gruesome for me. I can't imagine voluntarilty letting somebody slice such a large chunk of my scalp off.

I'd like to hope that some form of reliable, affordable, hair multiplication procedure will come along before I get really bald, but I'm not putting my life on hold for it, and if it doesn't happen, it won't be the end of the world.

No hair transplant for me, ever. When I was young and foolish, I tried a rug too. Awful.

I don't want to give myself some perfect hairline. I want a great hairline, but I want it to be me. This is what topicals do, and frankly I am actually ok with my norwood, and my regimen is more of a hobby for me. Then again, I am a bit older than most here on this board and may not be so sensitive about it. With experience, I have realized that women don't mind poor norwood as long as it is on the head of a good man.
