So I just read a thread about castration, that means that no testosterone is produced I think, because if this there is no hair loss. However if you give the patient testosterone he starts to lose hair and if you stop giving it to him, that means that the amount of dht becomes 0, he will not regrow his hair. He also started to loose his hair immediately which is weird because his hair was never attacked by it so you would think that it would take some time. So that can mean that dht activates some chain reaction at a certain age or that the damage is permanent and it needs a stimulant to grow again. You can find that out if you do the following experiment:
1. Use a castrated patient who didn't experience hair loss but should be bald by now.
2. give him testeserone or dht.
3. Wait till he is a nw2 (so the hairfollikle isn't inactive for too long then) and stop giving him it.
4. Now inject something that inhabits everything in the scalp area where hair used to grow hair so that there is no hormone or anything else there just the hair and the organs around it. So that means that there is also no pgd2 anymore. (if something like that exists).
5. watch what happens.
If the hair does not grow back then it means that the haarfollikel isn't there anymore so destroyed or that it needs a stimulant and it can't grow on it's own anymore for some strange reason.
But if the hair grows again then it means that at a certain age the dht in your hair creates something or somethings that causes the hair cycle to be less long and the hair to shrink. That is good news because than we know that we need a inhibitor for something released by dht that causes hair loss and if we do that our hair will grow again.
So what do you guys thing because hair loss seems very complicated.
