I'm posting this thread because I have a tough decision to make. I'm at the point where I think I finally need to start hair loss treatment, because my temples are on the verge of being irredeemable, but at the same time my hair is too long. What this means is that if any aggressive shedding happens, like the kind I have heard about here, it will be pretty noticeable and possibly ruin me forever.
And I'm afraid that whatever the treatment does to compensate for the shedding, it will never be as long as I have it now, therefore leaving me a train wreck of good long hair and vellus hairs. I'm basically looking for someone who has been in this situation because it's stressful just to think about it. I don't even care about the risk of ED, just that it might cause a lot more harm than good.
