i think alot of people don't use it cause they are on finasteride and don't see the need until they get sides and have no other option. i just ordered some and will post my experience. i haven't seen any posts of people getting sides from ru. ive only been researching ru for a few days now but it looks like it been around for years and their are no horrible stories from what i can see.

no horrible side effects AND its been out for years.... why isnt there hundreds, actually thousands of people using it? and if there is, why arent we seeing any success stories about it?

I think the whole ordeal of having to mix it really throws people off. I remember the first time I saw hellousers tutorial on RU I said to myself "yeah, **** that". Now RU is the driving life force behind my hair loss battle. It all depends on how much this **** means to you man.

BTW, zero side effects on RU, 100MG a day

tbh i have considered it, but if it was as good as people say it is, SOOO much more people would be using it/posting their maintenance or regrowth pics. I dont like the idea of using a product that was in safety trials and got pulled, something is def fishy there, the fact that suppliers arent reputable and the fact that there just isnt enough anecdotal reports of people maintaining besides 3 or 4 constant users, in which half of them are using finasteride too.

Yeah, but think about it in another aspect. Whenever someone tries a treatment and they LOSE a lot of hair from it, you see soooo many posts like, "RU destroyed my hair". For all the thousands of people that have used it, I have not seen many of these at all, if any. People tend to only post about treatments if they are having a negative impact. Some post positive threads, but if someone is getting awesome results, and they are not regular posters on these forums, they probably just don't even want to post. So, it could be that people are maintaining, people dropped it due to sides or convenience, or people regrew hair and quit the forums. That's my guess.

you make a very solid point actually, part of the reason why i dont wanna try it is cause the accessibility isnt as easy as our big 3 is to get.. honestly, im gonna give topical finasteride a solid run once i get it tomorow and if it all fails then ill just get the ru. do you guys buy the premixed? i cant see myself making my own mix properly tbh.

If someone gets castrated AFTER puberty their voice does not really change. The vocal cords should already be developed, and surely couldn't change in such a short time. you said you only got back on FINA recently.

You also said you normally had a deep voice, meaning it sounds higher now? Even transgender people don't get a higher pitch. Estrogen could make the voice a little softer, but it does not change the pitch. Apparently you have to go under the knife for that.

No it won't :laugh:. There is nothing special in the current available topicals that would prevent systematic absorption. Even if some vehicle reduces the amount of absorption, still more than enough gets through to experience sides. With the Hason and Wong crap it only has to be 1%. It's as useless as dropping 1mg to .5mg orally when experiencing sides.

One thing I've noticed, which is related to this topic, has anybody watched Deadpool? The lead actor has a very high voice. But he has a full head of hair. Is it just me, or has anybody else noticed this? The movie theatre I watched it in was insanely loud. Maybe I hate him in some way because he is a full hair. Don't know.

YESSS !! I thought about his voice the whole time. It seems to me he "forced" on it a bit to fit his character. What do you think ?

Speech-language pathology major here lol this. Is it possible you have a cold or have been doing some behaviors that are abusive to your vocal (aka shouting)?

My dermatologist said a patient of his experienced changes in his voice after starting finasteride. But it's also the only patient who ever had side effects from the drug.

Have you had your estrogen checked recently Joey? This is a symptom of high estrogen probably caused by finasteride.

I wonder if taking a mild AI alongside finasteride could alleviate your sides, if they are in fact caused by high estrogen.
