I have been working on rèducing my 2nd hèad buildup (term for the growth you get especially in the vertex area when balding ovèŕ the yeàrs). I hàd got rid of a lot of the softer stuff in thè 2nd hèad area doing purges ŵith 50/50 DMSO and magnesium oil mostly and some other things mixed ŵith DMSO until my balding vertex area was just left with some very hardened ridges in the area where the saggital ridge approaches that other ridge. I assumed due to getting no more stuff coming out much from the purges I was doing and that the ridges were so hard that it must be built up very hard calcium deposited there but I was wrong on that assumption and the purges were continuing not to reduce those ridges.
I then decided to try a DMSO and rosemary oil mixture to at least get the new vellous hairs I had to go terminal by getting better circulation in that area. I didn't read up on rosemary oil as much as I should have and went really big with a 20% rosemary oil 80% DMSO mixture. The first 2 times I applied it to my scalp I just got a really warm feeling and my balding area never turned red and I had no throbbing blood flowing from it. On the 3rd application though it was crazy what happened. The pain for a few minutes was so great I was convinced I would definitely have blisters and that balding area turned completely red. The vasodilation effect was stronger than I ever felt before - even than my first 1.5 mm dermarolling session. The crazy bloodflow lasted for 10 hours after that. The wildest thing though was on that 3rd application those ridges revealed themselves not to be large calcium deposits but to be hardened fibrosis (you could see them underneath the skin and they were milky white and you could see a thin layer of it that led away from the ridges also). Well the next day all kinds of mess was purging out (it makes you think skin is peeling away but it's mostly mess your scalp is ejecting out in reality. The next 2 sessions I have done are continuing to shrink those rides and there is less of the fibrosis showing when it reveals itself. The difference from these last 2 sessions and that 3rd one is the crazy blood flow slows down at about 3 hours instead of the 10 hours that time.
Note: I am not a medical person but if you have medical issues do not attempt this without knowing you are safe to do it. Also try 10% at first to see your tolerance because if it hits that 2nd head area like it did mine with the 20% it's no joke as I really thought I was going to blister for sure it hit so hard. Not sure why it didn't do all this the first 2 times but I guess it must have broken through some clogged stuff up there.
