I THINK I GOT FAKE finasteride!!!

Sorry for the caps guy's but i think i got fake finasteride or atleat it has to be cut with something. I order from http://www.xenicalsecure.com for almost 5 months now and i was reading a thread here about fake finasteride and to taste it to see if it tastes like candy. Well it tasted kinda sweat and a very little bit sour but hardly. I Had absolutely no problems biting into it and chewing the whole pill in my mouth without water. I've tasted Tylenol and its SUPER bitter tasting and this Propecia Pill tasted nowhere near the bitterness of tylenol. Is it Fake? I havent really been getting any different results then from when i was on minoxidil. Can i send somebody here like 2 pills to taste or test so i can find out if im being ripped off? Please i would greatly appreciate this. Anybody who is a real expert on what real standard Propecia 1mg taste like.Please let me know. Thanks!

P.S. im switching to Proscar from that UK site everybody loves this month but i just wanted to know to warn others. Thanks!

I just tasted a 1/4 of a Merck proscar tablet, it is not sweet to me in the least, actually some what bitter. Your's may be phoney.

Why in the world would you assume propecia would taste like Tylenol?

Anyway, I seriously doubt it is fake as long as it looks like the real thing. The cost of producing a fake probably costs more than producing the real thing. The is in no way a large market for fake Finasteride, or even real finasteride, like there is for v**** and similar drugs. In the market of medication, finasteride is extremely cheap for the consumer.

This is legit Propecia.

Hey Cassin, My Propecia is the same shape but on one side there is that same propecia name but there is no 1 at the bottom of it and on the other side there is no "MRK 71", there is a P with that flag or whatever it is going through the top part of the P.

So is this real or fake?

You know what...I think that is what my Propecia looked like. Now that I think about it it is sort of a profile of a persons head and the "flag" looking thing is actual wavy lines of hair going back? The nose is pointing to the right side and the hair flows to the left? It even has a neck?

That seems exactly what I used to take 2 years ago. I wouldn't think twice about it, sounds 100% legit to me.

The pic I posted is probably what Propecia used ot look like when it firts came out int he 90's and outdated. I wouldn't worry Stax.

Does that website look legit?. When i get them the adress says its being sent from New Zealand. I was wondering because i havent really gotton any results just maintenance pretty much. I was growing little semi terminal hairs from the 15% minoxidil prior and i really need some thickening. Im switching to Proscar to save money anyways and im getting them from that UK sight that people here recommend and their legit. I'll see how i do after im on 1.25mg of Proscar for 6 months. If no changes im probably switching to dutasteride.

With what we face, maintenance is results, regrowth is the bonus round. Don't expect miracles with the tools we have.


Regardless, without using it and seeing it, I would suggest your propecia is the real deal. Don't worry.

Okay great and thanks a lot Cassin for all your help. I was worried for a minute because i read that over 90% or internet drugs are a fraud or something like that and the pill hardly taste bitter at all, but i'll take your word for it that its not likely that they would produce fake propecia. Im in the early stages of hairloss so i should get thickening with my regimen but its only been around 5 months so im hoping that my switch from Proxiphen to Fluridil and continued Propecia,minoxidil,nizoral, will bring me my desired results.

hey my generic finasteride is dr. reddys finast. it is a small circular white pill. very smooth with the letters finasteride on one side. it is 5 mg. are you familiar with it?
