You're thirty, your sex drive is going to decline as you age, finasteride or not. You have to decide, if having sex multiple times a night is more important to you, get off finasteride and see if your libido improves.

I remember within the first two weeks on finasteride 1MG back in 2009 when I realised I had not thought about sex for over a week. There was an obvious libido drop.

If I had come on these forums I would have gone crazy with worry that my libido would not come back. I didn’t think too much about it, and within a week or two it came back.

not saying that’s the situation for everyone, but just an observation that sometimes staying off forums is the best thing for peace of mind while letting the treatments work. 2 months or 4 months into treatment is simply not enough time to let the treatments work.

Of course as I know that I was visiting the forums most of the time in the beginning of treating hairloss, it’s inevitable that everyone who has just started treatment will post on here every single day, until months or years pass and they realise the treatments do actually work, and most of the time they were simply in a panic and over analysed everything.

I think it has helped maintain my hair


My sex drive is still absolutely ridiculous but I used to get super hard without touching myself, now I have to touch myself to get hard after fukking once or twice

There’s nothing wrong with that lol don’t listen to people on here. But if you can afford it (in terms of current hair quality and aggression of HairLoss) I’d take a 1 month break.. im in a similar situation and just finished about a month off and notice a HUGE difference in terms of refractory period and overall desire to f***.. prob gonna get back on in the next month though since sh*t goes back to normal

If you are serious take finasteride every second or third day or lower the dose to 0.5 mg a day.
I'm doing so too for a month or so.
