I don't know. All I know is I intentionally stopped masturbated a few times for a few days and in that time my head was less itchy over all. What's more whenever I do masturbate the itching increases after about 20-30 minutes of the act itself, then it subsides again after a few hours.

No. Its not sweat. Its a dht-Pgd2-prolactine-dopamine-cortisol... rush into your scalp that harms your follicles. Sweat can only further irriate inflamed scalp.

I think its possible that your T levels raise slightly for a while and then go back to normal which could explain getting more of an itch temporarily. I think the itch is related to inflammation caused by androgens but maybe its something else. No link has ever been proven though. The itch could be from something else too.

I tested this twice again, and sure enough after masturbation itching intensifies, while there is generally less of an itch when I don't jerk for a couple of days.
