I m Having a shed! nizoral ´s shed or propecia shed?

hi i am on propecia since 6 months ago...and since when i started it to now my hair stopped to fall and my hair loss seemed to be estabilized. but in other hand i dont see it to estimulate new hair to grow until now. After say that i was not complete happy with the drug, but that was ok, becouse it stopped my hair loss. Last month i added nizoral shampoo 2% in my regement. now at month 6 of propecia, my hair started to fall out again! in my pillow i dont see any hair, but when i take a bath, i can see 20 or more hair on my hands and as i said when my hair stopped to fall in bath i only see 3 ou 4 in maximum , hairs on my hands! Ah i notice my hair line in the last mounths in going back and is more fragile. my question in is this a nizoral shed? or can this be a propecia shed? the propecia shed isnt in the beggining of the treatment? how many time is this going to shed? i note that nizoral fries all my scalp and my hair, can it be a shed of nizoral becouse my scalp have a alergic action of that product ?? thancks ppl ! and better luck for every one.

I'm also on finasteride for 6 months. I don't use Nizoral, instead I have Vichy Dercos anti-dandruff. No more dandruff, red spots, itching at all.

So, I've started taking finasteride in the beginning of Nov'04. In Feb'05 I've noticed hairloss has lowered it's rate to nearly zero. While showering I've got in the drain 4-5 hairs. But then I started losing more again. About a week ago I counted 50 in the drain. It lasts for about a month. Now I loss about 10-25 daily, but still hoping to see Feb results again, cause I think it's shed. So, you probably have finasteride shed too.

By the way. During this shed, my hair became thickier, more healthy. So, it's another vote for the shed.

hi! is just like me! in the start only 2-4 hair in the bath! now i have 30 hairs or something like that! and it is hapening since a month! i will continuing the treatment. i hope that is a shed and that i can see more new hair in my scalp. becouse i was expecting so much on this drug!

I also have a shed for about a month. Since first April days.

Do you see any results while shedding? I can say my hair became thicker.

hi! no i dont see any results like yours. the only thing that ai can see is that i have always new hair growing up, but some are very small and colorless. but i dont know if it is a good sign of regrow or if it is my hair that is falling out and come more fragille every time. i dont know what to think. i order online one product similar laser comb but is a brasilian one that is more chipper and it is a laser treatment. i have read that this laser treatment the good thing on this is that can enlarge and put more colour in your new velus hair. i have many velus hair and i think if this can make that, it wiil be good becouse the fisical results will be the scalp whith more hair! i wiil try this and report the results in here! i just want to have a natural life without the pain of loosing my hair! i want my old life back that i was so happy. :cry:
