hey folks,

I'm 26 and recently stoped taking propecia after over a year of poor results. 3 weeks later I got on .5mg of avodart per day. here's the situation: I got no sides from propecia, but I seem to be having the typically described sexual side effects from avodart.

what's strange is that they started virtually the same/next day that I started taking the meds. It raises some suspcions that these problems may be mental, because i have psyched myself out and worried so much about the side effects before i started taking duta ....and im also going through a period of fairly strong depression, which im told can decrease libido. it could also be the pressure of knowing that avodart is my last resort...

what do you guys think: are these sides mental or medical?

any input from you 'hair loss veterans' would really be great. grace me with some of your opinions please!

Could be mental, could be physical, most probably a combination of the two. Your bodys getting used to be some more DHT supression. I'm on Avodart and felt a little wierd for the first few days, you should be fine in a few weeks. Like everything in life, ride it out for a while then evaluate.
