I Just Bought Proscar Pills And They Are So Small

I just bought proscar to cut it 4 pieces and my Gosh these pills are so small.
I thought they would be way bigger.

I have a 2$ pill cutter and I just cut one pill. It seemed for sure around 1mg to get lost in dust.

How do you guys cut it? With sharp knife or you use any pill cutter?

That content is a bit contradictory with itself. They say to cut it in 4th pieces and in the method they teach how to cut it in 5th pieces. Haha.

But I cut one with a cheap pill cutter. In 4 pieces I can say it was OK but like I said for sure 0.5-1mg was lost in dust

Consider getting 70% alcohol(drinkable of course, not isopropyl YIKES) and diluting 4 pills in a 10 ML solution. At that rate that would be 20mg divided by 10, which is 2mg, so that would mean 1ml=2mg and 0.5ml(half a dropper)=1mg. If you want it to last even longer and your hairloss is mild you can do 0.2mg to 0.5mg with virtually the same effect, as backed up by this image:

edit: to make the solution, grind up all the proscar into a fine dust, then dump it into the alcohol and have it sit overnight.

Honestly if cutting it is a problem you can get a years worth of 1mg (360) from Costco in the US for $40. Might be worth not dealing with it.
