1. Why do some men just bald in the back but have NO thinning in the front, I mean i guess the obvious answer is there genetics have caused those follicles to be more sensitive to dht, but that doesn't follow the norwood scale.....or is it something not male pattern baldness related at all.

2. When people say you should keep the hair you have on propecia/finasteride do they mean even if u have hair that is thinner than others tehy will eventually become a fully terminal hairs, or u will keep the thinner hairs for a longer time? Dunno if that makes sense but work with me on that

Thanks

#1. answer - I often wonder the same thing. It is probably genetics, the area back there must be more sensitive to androgens than the rest...........just like you said.

#2. answer - I think what they mean is that since Propecia supposedly stops hairloss, then it should allow you to keep what you have left. As far as regrowing it , with Propecia alone, probably not much, if at all. That is when minoxidil would come in, for the growth. :)
