i dont know if i have alopecia or not, plse help me identify

i have a gotee, on the side of my gotee i have a patch of no hair, and its spreading across my face, it just a smooth hairless growing patch. doesnt hurt, no pigmentation loss..is there a way to add a picutre to this message? please help

I'm pretty sure it is alopecia areata, it sounds just like it. Not sure about picture adding, I'm computer illiterate!
