Hey all, the struggle continues....
I've been on finasteride for about 6 months now, I've been using minoxidil for about 2 months, 1 month in the form of Rogaine Foam and now about another month in the form of Spectral DNC-L.
Like clockwork, my hairline is still creeping back. I can set my watch to it. It's getting to the point where my sideburns are merging with my hairline. I would shave my head but I look just awful with short hair.
Not really sure what to do at this point. I dread getting a haircut and I think I've exhausted all my other options in terms of frontal hair loss treatment. My hairloss pattern is heavy loss at the temples and the widow's peak, so even if years from now I could afford a hairloss transplant and was willing to receive the permanent scars--I couldn't pull it off, because I would still have shiny temples.
Does anyone else have any treatment options that you think might work for a receder? I'm finally teetering on the edge of no return in terms my hairloss; if I don't see some maintenance or regrowth within the next month or so, I won't be able to style my hair to make it look even remotely normal anymore.... And damn my head doesn't look good buzzed either.... A definite lose lose.
