Looks like its a bad day for couvre users in Florida...

Holy sh*t. I just heard that its now a category 4.

Keep your head down, Shed. Hope you ride it out ok. Are you heading for high ground? Where exactly is high ground?.. Atlanta?!?

Good luck and keep us posted, Shed. I hope you get through without major troubles.

Well the bad news is, that it is heading right towards me with 145 mph winds. However... The good news is I may just saved about 10 bucks a month on my car insurance.

What is Who Farted? Is it some Floridian 'inside' joke? Or one of those oxygen bars?

All you guys in Florida better secure your finasteride and minoxidil. And 145 mph winds is no excuse to skip your minoxidil application. Sorry for trying to create levity of the situation, be safe all you Florida residents.

Isn't Blue's avatar Jobe from the Lawnmower Man movies? I'd stick with the rotating Proscar personally.

So, I'm getting worried about Shed. If you are reading this, let us know how you fared after Charley. And Blue, obviously your power is on and you seem like you were glanced by the storm. Any drama to report?

Garderner,
there was heavy rain and moderate wind here ...nothing out of the ordinary for a Florida summer.I know Sarasota got hit worse seeing as its further south...i hope Shed's doing alright i know there was massive floods and almost 15 billion dollars worth of damages.Although most of the damage that was hit was Fort Myers.

Yeah I'm fine. The major winds were confined to about a 20 mile radius of the hurricane, so it was like a tornado ripping through the state. I live about 30-40 minutes north of where it hit so I didn't get that much damage, however where it did end up making landfall is a freaking disaster area.
