Hi guys, i am reading about natural DHT blockers and some of them are Pumpkin seed oil, neetle extract and finally the most common Saw palmetto. Many reviews have experienced results in hair growth and everywhere i read that is Boost test levels= sex drive+, more energy etc...

But in side effects i can see "decrease libido" Why is that?? I mean they saw it is good for libido cause less testo is converted to dht, and then in sides the opposite result?? Anyone knows more about it?

Also what about its topical form?

Because DHT is 5 times more potent than Testosterone, if you decrease your DHT levels to a certain threshold, you may encounter decreased libido / erectile dysfunction / watery semen ect....

Decreasing DHT "naturally" by Saw palmetto or synthetically by finasteride for example, are the same thing. Saw palmetto is weaker than finasteride and that's about it.

Saw Palmetto also inhibits 5AR type 1, so realistically it is more like dutasteride rather than finasteride, though it’s potency is far less. You’ll need to consume a huge amount of SP to have the same inhibitory effect.

It is noted it can raise libido because the small amount of extra test that isn’t being converted to DHT can, in some people, increase your libido and erectile function.

Test can fulfill the role of DHT which is why 3 million (this number is probably bigger as it does not include private prescriptions) people worldwide can use finasteride for hair loss with mild or no side effects.
