I just found out that this is possible, I'm new to dermarolling and noticed that my temples are darker than the rest of my skin as of my last dermarolling session last week, I feel like I may have gone too hard, has anyone experienced this before? Will it fade over time? Am I safe to dermaroll or should I take a few weeks off?

I understand that the dermaroller makes small incisions under the skin, maybe that's it, and you just have to wait. You may have to make your sessions longer one of one another so as not to make the skin too exposed. And it is also important to observe if after the dermaroller session they apply any product to you, since it may be the product that causes the skin to look like this.

dont use dermaroll until the redness goes away.
after that only use dermaroll once every 2 weeks or 1 month.

Update: The skin discoloration hasn't gone away but has gotten better, I definitely went way too hard the last time around, I got back at it today and made sure that I wasn't as firm.
