Human Penis Shrinkage From Finasteride? Studies?

I have seen a few studies talking about the effects finasteride has on rat penises (believe they were mature rats if I am not mistaken) and that they noticed a 25% reduction in length over the course of the study...

I have heard a lot of anecdotal stuff on this while browsing the forums. I do not believe this has been mentioned in any human studies, but is there actually a statistically significant risk of this occurring in post puberty men? I have heard PED thrown across the forum a lot, but fewer instances of this. Thoughts?

I remember the study the rats were given 100mg a day thats a 100 times higher than tne recommend dose and I never saw any user taking such a high dose so it not possible
I think the ppl claim about shrinking is cuz they got ED from finasteride they stayed on it for a while so less blood flow there that means loss of some size but we're talking about guys on finasteride for years with SIDES
othere stories about 1-3 pills of finasteride caused shrinking are lies really cuz it's not possible considering the study of course

As a transgender woman I wish that statement were true, unfortunately I'll have to pay the $20k and have it surgically done. With that said, it's highly unlikely that your penis will shrink from a DHT inhibitor. There are some girls in the transgender community who have reported a little size loss from skin atrophy due to erectile tissue no longer maintaining skin elasticity. This is the direct result of a combination of real anti androgens with estradiol and doesn't always guarantee ED, libido loss, or penile shrinkage. I can go on to say that I am almost 10 years in with HRT and have not experienced any of these things. So it's highly unlikely anyone will experience this while on a 5 AR inhibitor, unless you have other complications that can lead to hormonal imbalances not directly related to the drug.

u got guys at ph.com blame finasteride for testical cancer or prostate othere studies showed it can lead to prostate cancer so if ur using it and ur scared better stop our ur mentally will make it worse

I'm over 50 and have been well acquainted with my "member" and know that at around 6 MO on finasteride the ejac pretty much came to a whimper, and at 8 MONTHS or so the head started shrinking inside almost all day, and it is the head is smaller and like bent downwards. I'm not joking. Not happy to report. I'm going to cut finasteride in half for 6 MO and see. I don't care what ANYONE says, for me it has physically changed my "member".

Almost 2 months on finssteride and my penis has neer been as hard as now
