Any responses to this? Kinda makes me want to stick with the 1mg instead of lowing to .5

Well we know from the research that a 0.5mg dose (or even a 0.2mg dose) is clinically effective. Maybe I'm cynical but I can't help but think they're just trying to scare people to stop them from spending less money.

There might be some truth to skipping doses making it less effective but I'm not aware of any studies on that. Plus, the slow rate of turnover of the 5-AR enzyme would seem to suggest that skipping a dose once in a while is not a big deal.

1mg/day was simply an arbitrary compromise between effectiveness and side effects. 5mg/day gives faster results than 1mg, but 1mg is better than lower doses.
