I was using 5% minoxidil that was in a very volatile vehicle, I think it was mostly ethanol, but two months ago or a bit less I switched to Minoxidil solution that's dissolved in PEG which gives better results and it's causing yellow flakes of unabsorbed solution, I shampoo my hair with nizoral but the flakes never completely wash out and I don't like rubbing my scalp vigorously as my hair easily falls with minimal tension, so any ideas on how to remove the flakes as I think but not sure that it's preventing the absorption of new applications and I think this might be the reason I've had an increasing shedding since 3 weeks ago
