hello, i'm new in the forum.

i'm not english so usually i write on the italian forum.

but today i've an "international" idea, so i write here.

why we can not create a site for fund-raising and help the scientist?

the alopecia problem interest to the man of whole world (milion of man).

it's only an idea but maybe we can quick the research.

what do you think?

the main reasons the cure hasn't been found is a cure would destroy any profit they could possibly make. if a guy uses it once and gets all his hair back, after that he wont have to buy anymore.

the other main reason is hair loss is a plain complicated condition.

I also think that the hairy idiots researching it GREATLY underestimate the psychological suffering that we go through and don't really put 100% effort into the research.

You know a little while I ago I thought this same thing. If all these guys wasting tons of money on snake oils and experimental treatments proven to do nothing spent it all on a big donation there might be something better by now. The studies they do are directly from the amount of money. How about donating money to study why body hair reacts to androgens the opposite of head hair or how propecia causes upregulation? There are plenty of good questions that need answers and tons of money being wasted by men on garbage like avacor or whatever the latest snake oils are.

Anyone saying there is not a cure because then people dont buy it anymore are just stupid. Any kind of cure is going to require maintenance forever no matter what it is. I mean why not cars lasting forever or anything else? Its just how life works nothing lasts forever and things need upkeep. Not to mention would you want a drug or whatever it is to permanently stay in your system I mean think about it.
