How to get a Propecia/Proscar prescription (Canada)

I've been using Minoxidil for a long time now and I'm finally starting to see the limits of my growth. I'm seeing some thinning on the top in the right lighting conditions, it's not enough to bother me much yet but I want to be proactive and see if I can do much about this before it gets terrible. I'd like to try Propecia or more specifically Proscar since I know that it can be much cheaper on a per mg basis. I am on a budget and need a prescription. What is my best method to do this? I no longer have a family doctor as I have moved and haven't found a new one. Is it not a good idea to go to a walk-in clinic for this kind of thing? Should I simply bring up the fact that I'd be interested in a prescription for Proscar as cost is a concern?

None of the Canadian online pharmacies I've seen offer this unfortunately. Can anyone comment as to whether going to a walk-in clinic was successful for them?

Go to a walk-in clinic and either ask for a referral to a derm or just get Proscar from the doctor if he's okay with it. Proscar is dirt cheap and can be split into 5 ways.

That's what I did, I live in Canada and went to a walk-in clinic. I told the Doctor I thought I was suffering from hair loss (I'm NW2). I asked for the Finasteride (Propecia) and she gave prescription She also wrote me a note to go see a Dermatologist who confirmed I was suffering from male pattern baldness, I asked him to give me a prescription for Proscar (cut it in 1/4th and it's dirt cheap) and he did. So yeh, if you do what I did you'll be fine!!I've been taking proscar for 4 months now, not much different yet, My male pattern baldness is not noticeable tho.
