How to apply liquid regaine to the hairline

When I apply liquid Regaine to the hairline it ends up dripping on my forehead and I end up wiping some of it away. Do any users have an optimal way of applying the liquid version on the hairline (temples) without wastage.

I always put mine in the fridge as I find the room temperature turns it into half liquid. So everytime I use mine it’s good thick foam, best to put this into a draw box in your fridge.
