How short can a full cap for men be cut?

I'm new to all this. Could you tell me how short a full cap for men be cut?

Hi vedderdard, I hope I'm getting your question right: I have my hair cut short to 6 mm every 2 weeks. I'm thinking about having it cut to 3 mm in the summer after the next semester.
Bts my status is Norwood 4/5 (21 yrs).

You can't cut a full cap as short as a hairpiece - you need length to cover the edges of the base along the sides and back. I'd say 1.5" would be the minimum, but the longer, the better.

Thank you! What about sideburns on a full cap? I actually have a wig that doesn't bond but clips in and the problem I have is that my hair thickness doesn't quite match the unit's thickness. Do you know if there are wigs that have sideburns included?
