just started finasteride and am wondering when I can expect to experience side effects (if any) during treatment.

when did yours start ?

I didn't start finasteride yet but it's different for everyone. I read within a few days, few weeks, few months, few years. And these are people who fall in the 3 to 5% who even get side effects. It is also possible that their side effects were unrelated to finasteride. Especially the ones occurring years later.
