Not use nizoral? It seems as though my hair doesnt respond to well with it (I.E just uber dry/brittle the next day and generally shittier hair quality). Am i harming myself a great amount if i only use foam + finasteride? I am probably around a Norwood 2 or so with minor thinning up top...... I dont really suffer from inflammation or dandruff at the moment.....
I was on Propecia and 5% Minoxidil only for 4 months and made great gains. I've been using 1% Nizoral for 2 months now. I seem to be tolerating Nizoral OK. Too early to tell if it is helping or not. I have pics in my story linked in my sig.
Are you using 1% or 2% Nizoral?
Trying Revita sounds like good advice.
Do you have more pictures of you with long hair? I only remember pics of you with the buzz cut.
I was going to say, make sure it is only 1% nizoral, and use it 2x per week. If that causes pain, then stop, or try the Revita. Expensive stuff. I prefer my cheap regimen. The RU and Eucapil were expensive. I'm not buying more unless my brother gets great results. He's applying it assymetrically so we will see. He's been losing ground before.
nizoral (ketoconazole) seems to help male pattern baldness in addition to just reducing inflammation. Keto has anti-androgenic effects which studies have shown can significantly improve MPH. If it's causing you problems though then I think it's reasonable to stop it. It might be worth trying another preparation with keto, but if you're on finasteride and minoxidil then I wouldn't worry about the nizoral too much.
And as was posted above, if you're on the 2% you could use the 1% instead and see if that reduces the sides.
