How Much Sun Is Okay? Do You Always Wear A Hat Outside?

How often do you wear hats to protect the system from sun?

Sun as we know causes color fade (to red for example) and dryness.

Holiday sunshine has killed my systems in the past. The systems shrink with heat (UTS does anyway) and the colour fades fast. On one off my previous holidays the heat and sun were so intense that the hair system turned a shade of green!

I would always recommend a conditioner that protects against UV / sun and helps to protect the colour. I also wear a hat sometimes - not always though as it gets too hot.

I reccomend a anti uv bandana.

Stys cool on your head.

Keeps the color on your hair!!

Eh, I go in the sun often. Yeah, the color will fade a little after several months. My stylist then dyes it (or I’ll dye it), and then it’s like new again.

I wear a cap outside almost every time. I'm now wondering how much UV protection that provides and how I should boost this? At the moment it's obviously impossible to get new units and get them cut in.

My next system might be a Lord hair synthetic system because the colour fade issues just annoy me.

The reality of it is that you need to be reducing sun exposure, hair system or not.

If i know i am going to be out in the sun for an extended period, like mowing the lawn, I always wear a hat.
