how much hair do "normal" people lose each day?

On proscar for 2 months now, and i think sh*t is improving, but i still seem to lose a lot of hair in the shower. But my hair is fairly long for a dude, so i guess that is to be expected. I wash my hair every 2nd day and a lot of hair is on my hands after. But then i was putting deoderant on my underarms and notice hair also came off of there onto the applicator (so clearly hair just falls out even when your not balding).

So what should I expect? Before i started losing my hair, my hair was cut super short so none appeared to fall it out. So i have nothing to compare my experience with here. And i can't ask girls because i don't know any very well, and hate talking about this issue with the ones i sort of know - reveals my wkeaness.

The problem isn't what you lose, but what grows back in the next cycle.

So when "going bald" my hair is not actually falling out faster than normal, but just not growing back at a normal rate? That[s pretty cool i guess. And i notice that girls seem to have a lot of hair in their bathrooms , so i guess what's happening to me could be normal.

I feel uncomfortable whearing white, because I feel like some shedded hairs might fall onto my back or shoulders, and people will notice im balding.
