I'm curious as to how many hairs people here lose on an average day. I currently lose around 40 - 75 on average.
Before now though, I don't ever recall losing any for the past five years. (when i first noticed the slightest amount of thinning) I never noticed hairs in the shower, (i've had long hair so it would have been easy to see), but i did lose some general thickness over the past 5 years. I cut my own hair so i was always looking everywhere.
This September though i started shedding hairs noticably. I noticed when i ran my hands through my hair, then noticed them in the shower, etc. After a month of it i decided to start propecia as i had always thought about it since my hair had slowly thinned over the years.
