How long will propecia take to get out of system?

As I posted before I have been taking propecia for only 13 days and have had a horrible shedd like never before, if I run my hand through my hair a lot of hairs fall out, even on the sides . I am thinking about stopping the treatment, at least until I can get an appointment to see a good dermatologist. The first derm. that I saw did not help me much with all my questions and only told me to come back in a month to see the effects of the drug(I am assuming only to make the consulation money)
Does anybody know how long it will take for the drug to fully leave my system so I can test if it is the cause for this massive shedd? I have also been under a lot of stress lately that's why I'm trying to eliminate the cause.
It would also help me if you guys could give me some tips in selecting a good derm. the last one I chose was defenetely a mistake.
Your responses will be apreciated.

Note that this graph shows how long it takes for the DHT level to renormalize not how long it takes for finasteride getting out of your system.

Would that not be roughly the same, or can finasteride stay in the system, but not have any effect?

If so though, how would adding more finasteride (i.e. taking another dose) have any effect?

Or am I missing something?

finasteride inhibits the 5aR enzyme. As soon as a finasteride molecule has docked to such an enzyme it is "destroyed" i.e. it can not convert T to DHT. Therefore the above graph mainly shows how fast these enzymes are reproduced. For these reproduced enzymes the remaining Finasteride in the blood is of interest. Well, one would need a differential equation to describe DHT-levels in dependency from finasteride doses over time.

Ah, that explains why I sucked at chemistry in school...
