How long until I can judge the efficacy of 0.5 mg finasteride?

I cut my dose in half after 6 months on 1 mg just to see if I could get the same results from less finasteride in my system and so far everything is going fine but how long do you think it will take until I see how well it works? 3 months? 6 months? 2 weeks?

I know that if you quit cold turkey you only have a few months...but with a reduced dose that wasn't quite effective enough could it be 6-9 months until you can tell?

Any thoughts appreciated.

I don't know why you have cut the dose but maybe due to cost and side effects?

Anyway, you should know a difference at the 2 month to 6 month mark. By the 10 month mark, you should completely know that your hair has been maintained.

After 10 months, you know that propecia does either grow hair or does not.

I consider this drug at maintaining hair.
