I've been on fine for about 14 months now. No side effects to speak of, I never had them. I come from a strong family background or hairloss (except for my dad who is 55 and a nw1.1).
What started as temple recession has apparently morphed into some noticeable thinning in the crown too. I've just started noticing the thinning in the crown in the last 2-4 months, and my temples have stabilized but definitely still trending negative.
I have thin, fine hair, so loss on me is very noticeable.
I haven't used minoxidil consistently so I'm wondering if it's time to bite the bullet and add minoxidil, or if I should stay stead with finasteride and nizoral only. Or ultimately at what point do I switch to dutasteride.
Not having sides on finasteride tells me that I may not be a good responder at all, that I've continued to lose at my natural rate - or it maybe it makes me a better candidate for the normally worse dutasteride aides?
What do yall think?
I'm getting a hair cut today and I'll more pictures.
