How long can you expect finasteride to work for?

I'm 20 and just started finasteride 2 weeks ago. I haven't seen any changes yet (duh) but I'm praying to God I have regrowth in the crown area. If finasteride does work for me, I was just wondering how many years I could expect it to work for?

Also, if finasteride stopped working after a number of years, could I possibly switch to dutasteride and have success for a long period of time as well?

Indefinitely at the one size fits all 1mg RX dosage. Only 15% will go on balding or be bad responders. But even those odds you can cheat.... if you start losing again then up the finasteride dosage or jump on dutasteride. (Go off label and kick DHT serum level even lower because one size does not fit all, it just the industry playing safe for the masses).
