Hi guys,
I've been on 1mg of Propecia for about 2 years. No real side effects to speak of, and seemed to have kept my hair count. I recently switched jobs, and my prespcription ran out while I was waiting for a new doctor. I probably went about 20 days without taking anything before my new pills. I also switched to the 5mg finasteride pills, (much cheaper) and I'm cutting in 4ths.
I've noticed a little thinning on my crown, and maybe a little more recession up front. Is that just in my mind? Or could the 20 days off have effected things? My doctor said "no," that it should be 30 days or so, but I've learned to question doctors from time to time.
Thoughts?
