How long before side effects from finasteride?

Sides started on week 1 for me. I cant hack it. Now using RU and minoxidil without sides.

I have only used finasteride for a months ,and I have has side effects. On my second day I noticed my semen was very watery, this has continued. During the first couple weeks my libido lowered, although that was a pretty short lived side effect. During masturbation my penis sometimes feels sensitive/tingly/numb, that happens less often now.

I think people worry too much about side effects maybe to the point where they imagine side effects. I guess I'm the type that doesn't worry about being one of the few people to have serious side effects. The lowered libido thing doesn't bother me at all, I mean if you desire sex less then you don't miss it. I would be frustrated if I had sexual urges but couldn't get an erection. Honestly though I'm not sure I would stop using finasteride even if it didn't allow me to have an erection.

I got the more weird sides almost immeditely (stomach problems) but that went away after the first week. Then maybe a month or so later I got watery ejaculate, but again that went away after a couple months. No sides now.

That's great to hear guys! What dosage are you guys using and what brand? Wonder if it would be better to start with .25 mg and then slowly go up to 1 mg?

I'm taking 1mg and just the generic Finasteride. I've been taking it at night usually. Zero sides so far and no shed.

It only took a couple of days to see side effects for me, toughed it out for about 35 days and they went away. I actually like being on it now.

I m approaching three months on finasteride and the only side I have noticed is, it takes longer to get off, but it feels the same once I get going. I first noticed this after 2-3 weeks. I still have the same sex drive though and I go for it almost everyday.

I'm also very skeptical after reading all the finasteride horror stories. Does anyone have any statistics they could point me to regarding what percent of users experience side effects? and what percent of users experience the prolonged/permanent PFS?? I want to know what my odds are, or are there ways to know ahead of time if you may be a likely candidate to experience the side effects.
