I haven't seen this topic anywhere so I think it would be nice to see how everyones regime have changed and updated itself over the years?

So this is the questions!
1) What kind of products did you start with at first?
2) What kind of products did you feel didn't work?
3) What kind of products did you really feel work for you?
4) What kind of products did you update your hair loss regime with?

5) Did you have any sides, and when(if?!) did they go away?
It would be nice if everyone told why they changed to the products they use and the result!

An example would be "I started on Propecia and after 8 months I updated it with minoxidil because....."

1) What kind of products did you start with at first?

Finasteride 1.25 mg a month, on June 2006.

2) What kind of products did you feel didn't work?

Neither finasteride or minoxidil hasn't worked yet.

3) What kind of products did you really feel work for you?

None yet.

4) What kind of products did you update your hair loss regime with?

Liquid minoxidil July 2006, made my scalp hurt like hell and shed the hair like crazy. I stopped after a month. This is my biggest regret really, my hair was ok before this. Don't know how the hairloss would've progressed without this and the scalp shock it produced. I started on Rogaine foam on May 2007, still on it but no success at least not yet. Gonna keep using it until the end of this year.

1) What kind of products did you start with at first?
finasteride, 2002 - 2006

2) What kind of products did you feel didn't work?
na

3) What kind of products did you really feel work for you?
finasteride did rebuild some hairline, hair on vertex and crown looked a little bit better.

But as of today, I would say that the combo of the big3 has worked well, but the min foam was the best thing I did. I'm not sure if finasteride is what I want to do for the next 10 years, but the foam and spironolactone are easy to put on if I keep my hair short, and heck I just act like the foam is my styling product.

4) What kind of products did you update your hair loss regime with?
nizoral 2% and min foam as of 1.1.07, along with msm and vit c.

Started spironolactone 5% a week ago.

5) Did you have any sides, and when(if?!) did they go away?
First two days with foam felt lightheaded.

First day or two with spironolactone also felt lightheaded, but went away.
