The conversion of testosterone to DHT contributes to body hair growth. If finasteride suppresses this process, doesn't it seem that it would reduce body hair growth? Yet I've seen a spectrum of opinions on finasteride's effect on body hair - that it reduces, has no effect on, or even increases body hair growth. If you've taken finasteride, in what way do you believe that it has affected your body hair?

Starting around a half-year ago, body hair grew in places where it was almost invisible before. Although I've had hair around my mouth, pubes, armpits, and lower legs for at least the past half-decade, I'm now getting visible sideburns, abdomen hair, upper-leg hair, hair on my hands and feet, etc. Also, growth of hair in places where it's been visible before has accelerated.
I'm slightly intrigued by how it would turn out but am also wondering what finasteride might do with it.

I haven't noticed any difference. By the way, why did you set an answer in the poll for people who haven't taken finasteride?
