I'm a 17 year old boy who is experiencing hair loss. It's thinning quite a bit on the temples and there is actually very noticiable thinning on my scalp.
It's annoying, and it would be wonderful to grow it back, but if minoxidil can't regrow my hair, how well does it work for just maintaining the hair I have now?
(I shed quite a bit of hair a day and am afraid my male pattern baldness might progress rapidly, so it would be great to just stop it.)
If it does work well at maintaining, will my male pattern baldness progression catch up easily later on?
