Bryan Senior Member Staff member Reaction score 43 Feb 22, 2012 #2 As I've mentioned several times before, topical minoxidil doesn't appear to affect the balding of hair in any legitimate manner. Once the peak of regrowth is achieved, balding appears to continue at about the same rate thereafter.
