How Do Y'all Apply Topicals Like Cb To The Head - Use Fingers Or No?

Seems to be working by just dripping onto scalp from a syringe but do people use their fingers to help potentiate coverage?

On the couple of occasions I have done this my fingers tips have been left with a lot of residue on them making me think it does more harm than good by diverting too much of the product away from the scalp and onto fingers.

When I have sporadically gone through periods of rubbing CB in further to my temples I have noticed either through coincidence or causation that my temples are clearly thickening!

Do people using CB on here just drop it on or do they follow up by rubbing in with fingers too??

I am using it in the Redken stemoxydine as a vehicle and using a syringe to apply which allows for probably over 100 drops to be applied each time from 1ml.
