how do i remove the alcohol in minoxidil? or stupid?!

I've been using minoxidil for 6 months... And I've just started to get side effects. My eyes are irritated, sore, red, and painful. The doctor said the alcohol in minoxidil can cause this to the eyes. Does anyone know how i can remove the alcohol and still use minoxidl???, As I like how it thickerns up my hair..


Or any other ideas..?

that is a reaction to Proyplene glycol not alcohol
the alcohol simply evaporates on the scalp leaving a solution of minoxidil and proyplene glycol
if you're on 5% move to 2%, less ppg and there is little evidence that 5% is more effective than 2%, just that it may work faster
